    Description

A pair of vintage Weekly Perfect Picture puzzles from the Depression era in the 30s. Original price was 25 cents apiece. They are guaranteed complete. Both are in very good condition for their age.
The puzzles were published weekly by Viking and distributed by American News, probably to news stands and book shops.
They are different series, A & B. One states the number of pieces as 160 and has no title, the other has a title and no piece count. They weigh almost the same. The slim boxes are 10" x 8".
These are non-interlocking puzzles and have a few figural pieces. You can see a canoe in the one on the left. The finished puzzle sizes are not given.
The green box puzzle has 163 written in ink near the printed '160 pieces', which is a great sign that a serious puzzler had these. There's also a name written at the top.
